Los mexicanos somos románticos por naturaleza, se estima que 6 de cada 10 personas tienen pareja, de acuerdo con datos del Instituto de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI) de 2017.

 Ahora bien, en esta era digital el uso de la tecnología ha sido un factor para iniciar y mantener el romance, ya que los sitios y apps de citas online cada día son más utilizados. Por su parte, las redes sociales y los servicios de mensajería instantánea son herramientas útiles para mantener el contacto en cualquier lugar y hora.   

Basta decir que, de acuerdo con informes de 2017 de la Asociación de Internet, más de la mitad de los internautas mexicanos se conectan las 24 horas del día, y los momentos de mayor tráfico son durante la hora de la comida y antes de dormir, de los cuales 9 de cada 10 lo hacen a través de su smartphone. 

En general, estos datos sugieren que la mayoría de los mexicanos disfruta de comunicarse con sus amigos y seres queridos, sin embargo, cada día es más común escuchar sobre peleas o malentendidos en redes sociales.

 

Ya no te estreses, te dejamos tres consejos para mantener el amor en los tiempos de la era digital: 

Comunicación:  directa y sincera siempre es la mejor vía para mantener relaciones duraderas. Actualmente el fácil acceso a un smartphone permite una interacción constante. Por eso, para evitar malentendidos en redes sociales u otras plataformas, lo más sano es preguntar directamente antes de dudar o hacer suposiciones, de esa forma se reforzará la confianza en su relación.

Respeto: si bien es importante la honestidad en toda relación, cada persona tiene derecho a su privacidad, por ello el respeto hacia el otro es un tema esencial entre parejas y amigos. Es normal sentir curiosidad, pero no es aceptable controlar o invadir la intimidad de los demás, ya que más allá de generar inconvenientes personales también puede provocar problemas legales.

Espontaneidad: no importa si son grandes gestos o pequeños detalles, el expresar cuanto quieres a tu ser querido es una forma de fortalecer su relación y demostrar lo importante que es para ti. Una llamada, un video o un mensaje pueden alegrarle el día, todo depende de tu creatividad.
